About Insurance & Insurtech
Insurance is a quiet trade. Its products are promises on paper, and the best new ones make that paper easier to read. This room holds the products and businesses that are rethinking how cover is bought, held and paid out, from a single policy for one person to the software behind a claims desk.
Each entry is hung like a small exhibit: a name, a line on what it does, and the founder's own account, checked and edited before anything went live. Newest launches appear first, and visitors can re-sort the wall by community votes, which can never be bought.
Four subcategories divide the room: personal cover, business cover, claims technology and comparison services. Use the filters to narrow the view, then step closer to any listing that catches your eye. Founders who wish to hang work here can begin at /submit.

Insurance & Insurtech: questions answered
- What belongs in Insurance & Insurtech?
- Products and businesses that sell, arrange, administer or improve insurance. That includes cover for individuals, cover for companies, software that handles claims, and services that compare policies. General finance tools without an insurance purpose belong elsewhere on the site.
- How do I choose between the subcategories when listing?
- Pick the one that describes what your customer does with you. Selling a policy to a person or a firm points to personal or business insurance. Processing payouts is claims tech. Helping buyers weigh quotes is comparison. Every listing has one main category, included free.
- Can my product appear in more than one category?
- Yes. Your main category is chosen at submission and is free. A paid upgrade adds up to 3 more categories for $5, which suits products that straddle, say, business cover and claims software.
- How are listings ordered on this page?
- Newest first by default, so recent launches sit at the front of the room. Visitors can switch to sorting by community votes. Votes cannot be bought, so that order reflects what readers chose rather than what anyone paid for.
- What should I look for when comparing insurance products?
- Check what is covered and what is excluded, how claims are made and how long founders say they take, and who actually underwrites the policy. Read the listing's own description carefully, then follow the link to the full policy wording before you decide.
