What does the Timeout setting in pricing mean?

Timeout is how long AnyHook waits for your endpoint to respond. AnyHook acknowledges the webhook sender (like Stripe) in milliseconds, so the sender's timeout is satisfied. Your endpoint has 60s on Free, 120s on Pro, or 5 minutes on Scale to respond. For tasks longer than this, return HTTP 202 Accepted and process asynchronously.

What happens if AnyHook itself goes down?

Events are written to a durable queue before AnyHook returns 200 to the sender. If AnyHook's Forwarder is temporarily down, events queue up and process on recovery. The sender already received their acknowledgment, so there are no retries from the sender and no data loss. Uptime is published at status.anyhook.net.

Can my AI agent take 5-10 minutes to respond to webhooks?

Yes. AnyHook acknowledges the webhook sender in under 1.1 seconds p95, well within their timeout requirements. Your agent can take as long as needed to process. Return HTTP 202 Accepted immediately from your endpoint, then process asynchronously. AnyHook's timeout (60s Free, 120s Pro, 5 min Scale) only applies to that initial HTTP response.
