How the leaderboards are hung

Each week, voted launches earn badges. Three ranking boards show community votes, paid placement and domain authority.

Updated

Novara Launch displays three leaderboards, each ordered by different measures.

Community board

Hanging by votes alone. The ranking shifts as visitors vote throughout the week. No payment affects position here.

Billboard

A paid exhibition space. Launches here are clearly marked as paid placements, ranked by money contributed (minimum $5). Visitors always know the order reflects sponsorship, not merit.

Domain Rating wall

Listings ranked by their Ahrefs Domain Rating. Each card shows the trend—whether the rating moved up, down or stayed level—along with the dates the rating was checked and when it last changed. A snapshot of established authority.

Launch of the Week

Each Monday to Sunday (UTC), the top 3 launches by community votes earn Launch of the Week badges. Awards arrive automatically when the week closes. Winners receive email notification.

On Novara Launch, the wall's order is always transparent. Votes decide what rises.

Questions people ask

Can I pay to rank higher on the community board?
No. The community board is voted only. The Billboard is where paid placements are hung, always clearly labelled.
When are Launch of the Week badges awarded?
Automatically at the end of each week (Sunday, UTC). The top 3 by votes that week receive badges and are notified by email.
What does the Domain Rating board show?
Launches ranked by Ahrefs Domain Rating, with the trend (up, down or unchanged) and the dates it was last checked and when it changed.
