How the badge works and when your link is followed

The badge links to your listing. Free launches need it displayed; paid launches don't. The link becomes dofollow based on your site's authority.

On the wall: the badge

Every listing can wear our badge on its own website. Visit your listing's badge page to pick a design—choose your shape, colour and size—then copy the HTML to your site. The badge points back here.

Free listings: the badge requirement

A free listing publishes only when our crawler finds the badge linked to your listing page. We check automatically and return every 7 days. If the badge vanishes, your listing returns to waiting and we send you notice. Replace it and it re-publishes by itself.

When your link gets followed

The badge link begins as nofollow. Our script watches live: it switches to dofollow when your site's Domain Rating (Ahrefs) reaches 20 or higher and passes our spam checks. Otherwise it remains nofollow. Paid launches receive a dofollow link on the listing page itself; free listings get nofollow only.

Earned badges

Launch of the Week winners, Featured, Launched and Verified badges appear on your listing once earned. These arrive without action from you.

Questions people ask

Do I need the badge if I pay for my launch?
No. Paid launches publish without the badge. Only free listings require it displayed on your website.
How often do you check whether the badge is still there?
We check automatically every 7 days. If it has gone, we email you and your listing pauses until you restore it.
What makes the badge link dofollow instead of nofollow?
The link switches to dofollow when your Domain Rating (Ahrefs) is 20 or above and you pass our spam checks. Paid listings always get dofollow on the listing page.
